Welcome to the official website of Connecticut-based independent singer/songwriter Doug Allen. For the past 10 years, Doug has performed throughout the northeast, appearing with acts such as Jeffrey Gaines, Edwin McCain, Blue Oyster Cult, The Radiators, NRBQ, GE Smith and John Entwhistle of the Who.

I've been teaching guitar just for fun over the past 5 years or so and it's turned out to be something I really enjoy. I teach the way I was taught... by learning your favorite songs the FIRST DAY... then through that we learn the music theory we need to know.
